My name is Stuart Handley and, for those who do not know me, I have long lived as a member of our community.  Having been born and raised at Gunnerfleet Farm, Chapel-le-Dale, I moved to Burton in Lonsdale in 1996.  I have since served on the Parish Council, both on the finance committee and as Vice Chairman.  I am also a member of the Lunesdale Rotary Club and for the last 32 years I have been working in the community as an assistant accountant for Richard Turner & Son.

I am aware of the difficulties we all face in our lives day to day and, being passionate about the wellbeing of all our residents, I would like to offer my time and commitment to serve you as your elected representative on the District Council.
